Rooms are quite small. Breakfast good, Restaurant food is very good but it could be made clearer tht it is a menu "Gastronomique" and cannot be considered a "Hearty Meal"
Top Tip
Restaurants:- Edy, Vicolo Balbuino off Via Balbuino near Piazza di Poppolo;
Osteria Margutta, Via Margutta again off Via Balbuino. N.B. not to be confused with the Margutta in same street - the latter being another excellent restaurant but in this case vegeterian.

Excellent service from staff, many who speak good English. Hotel very clean, nicely decorated and well appointed, but beware very small bedrooms and bathrooms.
Top Tip
Beware being ripped off by even the genuine taxi drivers. Coffees, snacks and meals all very expensive in central Rome. Walking everywhere is the best and easiest way to get around but take very comfortable shoes. There are very few public toilets, except in museums and cafes. Many museums are only open in the morning. If you intend to visit the Vatican Museum in busy holiday periods be aware of the queue of over a mile that forms from before 8.00am for opening at 10.00am. Those at the back do not always get to the door in time for the museum closing at around 2.00pm !!
