Not only is it housed in a 17th century palazzo, it has also been a 5-star hotel since the end of the 18th century. The magnificent lobby is very elegantly appointed with light marble, Persian rugs and crystal chandeliers and is dominated by an original 19th century statue of the goddess Minerva.
The 135 guestrooms feature old “boiserie” ceilings, antique furniture and soft colour schemes. All are well maintained and equipped with a good range of modern amenities.
