Despite its name, the hotel actually lies two blocks to the north of Rome’s premier shopping street, Via Condotti, and is just 20 metres from the Spanish Steps.

The emphasis at the Condotti Hotel is on peace and comfort, created by elegant period furnishings and a relatively quiet location. Renovated in 2004, the 21 guestrooms are soundproofed and many enjoy views of the rooftops of Rome. Each one features walnut furniture and gilt-edge mirrors, with rich fabrics used for the curtains and bedspreads. The hotel offers a full Continental buffet every morning in its breakfast room, which, in spite of being in the basement, is attractively decorated with white walls and light coloured furniture.
